Abhishek Bakuli works as a statistician within the TB Sequel Project at the Division of Infectious Diseases and Tropical Medicine at the Medical Center of the Ludwig Maximilians University (LMU) in Munich.
He has worked in the past as a researcher in epidemiological and statistical methods at the Helmholtz Centre for Infection Research in Braunschweig and is currently concluding his PhD in Epidemiology from the Medical University of Hannover in Germany. He has a joint masters in Biostatistics from the University of Hasselt in Belgium and Maastricht in the Netherlands. Beforehand he did a bachelor and master in Statistics and Operational Research specializing in Financial Econometrics at the University of Delhi and Hyderabad in India.
His research interests include quantitative methods in epidemiology with a focus on infectious disease modeling and longitudinal data analysis in biomedical and economic applications. He likes statistical consulting and is eager to work on new methodological challenges in epidemiological studies.
