Olena Ivanova is the scientific project manager and one of the investigators on TB Sequel Project at the Division of Infectious Diseases and Tropical Medicine, University of Munich (LMU). She supports the overall conceptualization and conduct of the research activities in this project. She is one of the leading scientists in the socio-economic studies.
Olena holds a medical degree and a master degree in Public Health from three European universities. Over the past few years, she has been involved in research projects in the field of sexual and reproductive health (SRH) with a special focus on adolescent SRH, maternal and child health, family planning; HIV and tuberculosis. Her international experience was enriched by working and living in a number of European and African countries.
Furthermore, Olena’s research experience includes both quantitative and qualitative research. She has keen interest in monitoring and evaluating of health interventions and health policy analysis.
