I am biologist with master in health science. I am INS staff since 2008 and actually worked as head of INS reference labs Department at Marracuene. I am 35 years old and mother of 8 years beautiful daughter.
Please tell us a little bit about your research…
My research is focus in immunology of HIV and tuberculosis. The main objective is to identify biomarkers that can predict TB treatment outcome and lung impairment, regardless to HIV status. The samples are tested on baseline, month 2 and 6 by flow cytometry and Luminex.
What is the most exciting thing about your job and or research?
How my daily work in public health, improve the health of Mozambicans. I did and do work that improve the access of laboratory services for diagnose and the quality of results produced in the labs around the country.
