The third of four TB Sequel Site Initiation Visits (SIV) has been performed at the Medical Research Council (MRC) in Fajara, The Gambia!
This visit was attended by policy makers from the National TB control program as well as representatives from the community (community leaders, elders) as well as other stakeholders from the health clinic TB officers (Leprosy and Tuberculosis inspectors).
During this four day SIV, all important aspects of the protocol, laboratory, clinic, data management and monitoring was discussed.
