We are pleased to announce that within just two weeks of the first site initiation visit (SIV), the second of four sites for the TB sequel project has now also been initiated.
This SIV took place at the National Institute for Medical Research – Mbeya Medical Research Centre (NIMR-MMRC).
The four day SIV comprised of intensive protocol specific training including laboratory procedures, clinical procedures, data management and monitoring.
The launch was attended by the Director General of NIMR as well as representatives of the Ministry of Health among other stakeholders.
